TRIALS

It is strongly recommended that a trial appointment is scheduled in order to ascertain a preferred style and the required processes for the wedding day; please supply inspirations pictures prior or bring on the day. Trial appointments are charged separately and payment is required either in advance, or is to be made directly to Taylored Beauty NZ on the day of the appointment by cash/internet banking. If your preferred trial day is not available, and/or if I cannot fit you in on a weekend due to other wedding bookings, I will do my best to accommodate you. Trial travel fees may apply. A trial includes ONE hair style and ONE makeup application, any more than this will incur an additional fee paid to your artist on the day. If the client decides, at a later date, that they would like a different look or request changes and thus requires another trial another trial fee will be incurred. Trials are non-refundable. If the client is unhappy or dissatisfied in any way with the service supplied prior to or during the trial then they must notify Taylored Beauty NZ immediately or within 24 hours of the trial appointment. Further services may be supplied entirely at the discretion of Taylored Beauty NZ.

TERMS + CONDITIONS

This agreement is made between Taylored Beauty NZ and the client as detailed in the confirmation email, which forms part of the contract. Any changes to the booking (such as, but not limited to, dates, locations, and number of clients) must be made in writing/email and agreed with Taylored Beauty NZ

Taylored Beauty NZ will hold provisional bookings confirmed by telephone/email/facebook message.

The appointment will become final upon the safe receipt of the confirmation email and deposit, which is a 20% deposit or amount arranged by Taylored Beauty NZ. The deposit is on top of the final makeup balance, paid 1 month before the wedding date. Taylored Beauty NZ will acknowledge receipt of the deposit via email and confirming the final booking. The remaining balance is then paid 1 month before the wedding date, along with the travel/call-out charge if applicable.

In the event that the booking deposit is not received by Taylored Beauty NZ then the provisional booking will lapse and the date will become available to another client. If the deposit is received late then the date will still be made available to the original client, if it has not been booked by another client.

The booking deposit must be received within 72 hours of receipt of the deposit request email in order to reserve the date. The payment will be made into the bank account of Chantelle Taylor, instructions will be given to the client via email in an invoice attachment.

The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferrable.

If the client wishes to alter the booked date, the deposit paid for the original date is non-refundable and non-transferable, unless specifically agreed by Taylored Beauty NZ.

In regards to Covid-19 management, if the country or region goes into lockdown or a state of emergency is declared and you are unable to have your wedding on your specified date due to government restrictions, Chantelle Taylor will transfer your wedding booking to a new date. If that date is not going to work with other bookings, the deposit will be refunded.

If your wedding date is changed due to “change of mind/circumstances” and New Zealand does not have any lock down restrictions in that region which prevent Chantelle from completing the job, the deposit will not be refunded.

The final balance of payment is due the month before the booked wedding date via internet banking or cash on the day of the wedding, unless another arrangement has been agreed on by Taylored Beauty NZ.

Wedding Trial Cancellations

If a client has booked a tiral through Taylored Beauty NZ and wishes to cancel or amend the appointment, this is required to be done within 48 hours of making the initial appointment / or prior to 5 days of the appointment dates. Notification should be provided via email or telephone.

Wedding Booking Cancellations

If you need to cancel your booking, this should be confirmed by email or telephone as soon as possible. Any cancellations before the wedding day will NOT be refunded their deposit - sorry, no exceptions. Cancellations made 8 weeks or less before the wedding date, will incur an agreed 50% of the total balance.

Cancellations made 4 weeks or less before the wedding date, will incur an agreed 100% of the remaining balance.

Chantelle will have turned away other work and this loss of income will need to be covered.
